Then there's a high chance you're living under the Action genre. Everyday is a physical and mental challenge, and there's almost never a day without something exciting happening. You're quick, smart, and you always put up a hard fight. They bring you down? You get back up!

Mine's definitely not (sadly) but maybe yours is! Maybe you fell in love at first sight? Or maybe having a lover's quarrel with your girlfriend? Did you look at her to catch a glimpse and catch her looking at you too? Then you're a Romantic! You think about love a lot, maybe give advice to a few friends (even if you have no experience) and you have strong feelings when you fall in love. Be careful though, lust or infatuation can be easily mistaken for 'love'.

Making good jokes? Comedy Anime!
Are your friends always teasing you about a running gag, or maybe you're the one spitting out the best jokes of 2015? If you lead a life around laughter, then your life must be of the Comedy genre. You have a group of friends with similar interests and sense of humor, you find a joke in every situation, you can get a laugh out of every person. Certainly you and your friends are entertaining and hilarious to watch.
Cry for those who live in a Drama anime.
You usually don't tell the details of your life / childhood, and you probably encountered a lot of hardships in your life. You could be poor, orphaned, traumatically hurt, heartbroken --- But cheer up, there's always gonna be a friend you can rely on to help you overcome these challenges. You have to be strong but you don't have to carry the burden all by yourself because you are not alone.
Hire those who are in a Mystery anime!
There's been a lot of weird things happening around *insert setting here* lately... and you have to find out why. Your life is under the Mystery Genre if you always have to solve for Who's What's When's Where's How's and Why's!(Yes, these make Mathematicians detectives too) You're very deductive and perceptive. You are very curious and want to solve every problem coming your way. You just can't stand not knowing an answer to a question and you want to find out yourself (pride). Oh, a jerk thinks he can get away with stealing your tuna sandwich? He could never have been so wrong in his life.
And that's the 5 main genres! The other minor ones are mainly for additional classification in my opinion:
Is it a lot like Real life? Slice of Life, Supernatural, Fantasy
Is the lead Male or Female? Shounen, Shoujo
Is it for a mature audience? Seinen
Does it contain lustful images? Ecchi
Main character surrounded by girls/boys? Harem, Reverse-Harem
Is the setting a School? School
Does it feature mainly Science, Sports, or Music? Sci-Fi, Sports, Music
